Walking
|
The area offers substantial
outdoor pursuits such as horse riding, golf, fishing, mountaineering,
watersports, canoeing, hillwalking, mountain biking and ski-ing in
the winter months at Nevis Range Ski Centre or nearby Glencoe.
As well as outdoor pursuits, if you want to take things a bit easier,
Fort William has a fine choice of visitor attractions for you to enjoy.
You can visit the Dew of Ben Nevis Distillery for a tour, take a trip
up on the Nevis Range gondola, see wonderful gemstones and crystals
at Treasures of the Earth Exhibition or take a Crannog Cruise to Seal
Island. The Jacobite Steam Train also runs from Fort William along
the Road to the Isles during the summer months. |
